The Symphonic Orchestra of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) will celebrate a new concert the nextNovember 27th at 7:00 p.m. in theAuditoriumof the Faculty of Fine Arts UPV. Under the direction ofFrancisco J. Valero Garcíathe university ensemble will present a program that combines the contrapuntal elegance of Johann Sebastian Bach with the symphonic energy of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Program
The concert will open withRicercar to 3 of theMusical Offering fromJohann Sebastian Bach. The orchestra will then play theSymphony No. 7 in A major, op. 92 fromLudwig van Beethoventhrough its four movements:
- Poco sostenuto – Vivace
- Allegretto
- Presto
- Allegro con brio
Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
