Application procedure - Nomination 24/25

What Home university has to do

In order to be considered for Erasmus exchange studies at Campus d’Alcoi. UPV, the student has to be officially nominated by their home university.

Nomination information should include:

  • First name, family name
  • Date of birth
  • Duration of exchange studies
  • Email address
  • Course of studies/ field of study

After your nomination, students will receive an e-mail with all the necessary information about the further application procedure.

Please send the nominations to international@epsa.upv.es

Please note our deadlines and do your best not to nominate students after the deadline.

What students have to do

Students should apply online at the following link:

Request user ID and password

Step 1. Request Username and PIN number This step is not automatic, a member of staff has to approve each request. Guide step by step

Step 2. Complete the online application form on the AIRE portal.

Step 3. Download and print the overview of your online application. Obtain signatures and upload it, along with any documents requested by your UPV host School / Faculty, as explained in the application instructions you will receive

Application Deadlines (for applicants):

For our first semester (Sept-Jan) or full academic year (Sept-July):

- From 1 April to 15 May


For our second semester (Feb-July):

- All students: from 1 September to 15 October

Language requirements

All incoming exchange students coming to UPV must give proof of their sufficient knowledge of the Spanish Language to be able to enrol subjects taught in Spanish in the following way:


Italian and Portuguese native speakers: it is not obligatory to present an external Spanish language certificate (except in the MSc in Textile Eng). They need to complete this document

For "English Friendly" courses you do not need a Spanish language certificate.


Applying to Master's Degree in Textile Engineering a Certificate of having achieved level B1 (CEFR) of Spanish. https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages

Applying to Master's Degree in Business Administration a Certificate of having achieved level B1 (CEFR) of Spanish. https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages

Spanish certificate will not be required if students only enrol subjects taught in English
