Last June, the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) hosted the graduation ceremony for students of the Master’s Degree Program in Food Science and Engineering, a celebration held jointly with the Master’s Degree Program in Food Quality and Safety Management.
Both programs, coordinated by the Research Institute of Food Engineering (FoodUPV), continue to serve as academic benchmarks in the food sector thanks to their educational excellence and their close alignment with the sector’s needs.
The 2025–2026 academic year marked another success for the Master’s in Quality Management and Food Safety and the Master’s in Food Science and Engineering, with all available spots filled. The class was made up of students from different autonomous communities and several Latin American countries, reflecting the program’s international appeal and enriching the academic experience with a multicultural perspective.
This result is the product of the commitment and dedication of the faculty, whose work contributes each year to training highly qualified professionals to tackle the current challenges facing the food industry in such critical areas as food safety, quality, regulations, and business management.
On behalf of the master’s program’s administration and coordination team, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to making this new edition of the program possible. We would also like to extend our sincerest congratulations to the graduating students for the effort, perseverance, and dedication they have demonstrated throughout their studies. We wish them every success in this new professional chapter they are now beginning.
