Back-to-back academic programmes

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is offering 14 back-to-back academic programmes for the academic year 2022-2023, which can be chosen directly in the pre-registration stage. This initiative means that students taking consecutive bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field of engineering and architecture can enrol for the master’s degree once they have a maximum of 30 ECTS credits left to pass (including the bachelor’s thesis). Students wishing to access the master’s degree who have not signed up to the programme cannot have more than 9 ECTS credits pending (excluding the bachelor’s thesis).

Marival Segarra, Vice-Rector for Organisation of Studies, Quality, Accreditation and Languages at the UPV, said that “these programmes aim to ensure greater visibility for regulated professions, making society more aware of the fact that certain studies require a master’s degree in order to exercise the profession in question”.
