In addition, we give students the opportunity to participate in the Ecotrophelia food innovation contest, for which teams create an eco-innovative product that they will then present to a jury of experts. We invite everyone who is curious about the agri-food sector to join us and discover all that this world has to offer.

Fornejant Ciència is a group that is mainly formed by students of the School of Agricultural Engineering and Natural Environment, however it is open to anyone who has an interest in the food sector. The only admission criterion is to have interest and curiosity and to want to participate in the activities we carry out.

Thanks to the diversity of our degree programs, we are able to bring together a wide range of expertise that enables us to address today’s challenges from a holistic perspective.

We have two projects underway: one on hydroponic farming and the other on ornithology and bird conservation. We love learning by doing, and the best thing is the desire to grow together in the team.

We are excited to launch this project, which seeks to transform organic waste generated on the Vera Campus into natural biostimulants, thus promoting a circular economy and contributing to the sustainability of the university environment.
