Ángel Guzmán Goncalves and Claudia Ramos Toledo. Second prize in the 13th edition of the Verallia Design and Creation Contest

On behalf of the Master’s Program in Design Engineering, we would like to congratulate students MUID Ángel Guzmán Goncalves and Claudia Ramos Toledo for winning second prize in the 13th edition of Verallia’s Design and Creation Competition with their project CHASEN.

The CHASEN project, developed in collaboration with Claudia Ramos Toledo, is a brilliant concept that perfectly embodies this year’s theme (“Flip the pack, set new rules”). Transforming a ready-to-drink matcha beverage into a glass container that balances the Japanese tradition of the milkshake with the contemporary functionality of the textured surface—improving grip and ergonomics—demonstrates an exceptional level of industrial design and conceptualization.

It is a well-deserved honor in a highly prestigious competition that serves as a direct springboard into the professional packaging industry.
