Cristina Campos, a graduate of the UPV, is a finalist in the 2026 iF Design Student Awards for her project “Re-Build”

Cristina Campos, a graduate in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, has been named a finalist in the prestigious iF Design Student Award 2026, considered one of the most important international design awards. Her senior thesis project, “Re-Build,” was selected from among more than 10,000 submissions from around the world, making it one of the 300 finalist projects in this year’s competition. The award highlights the quality, innovation, and social commitment of the new generations of designers. The awards ceremony took place in Frankfurt as part of the Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 World Design Capital, bringing together students and professionals from the international design community. This distinction marks a new achievement for Cristina, who was previously honored in 2024 with the special “Best of the Year” iF Design Student Award for the “Pongo” project, developed alongside two classmates. With “Re-Build,” the designer proposes a sustainable solution for school furniture aimed at facilitating the restoration of educational spaces following natural disasters.
