The course “LIFE DESIGN: explore your future and (re)design your life through Design Thinking” will be held at ETSIADI on June 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2026.
The course offers a practical introduction to the Life Design methodology, developed by the Life Design Lab at Stanford University. Created by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, this methodology applies Design Thinking tools to the exploration of personal and professional futures, decision making and the design of possible life paths.
Through different dynamics and exercises, participants will reflect on their vision of life and work, question learned ideas about success, generate alternative scenarios for the future and design small prototypes to explore new possibilities.
The workshop will consist of 4 sessions of 3 hours and 30 minutes, complemented by a final closing session of 1 hour on July 7. It will be facilitated by Kiko Gaspar, lecturer at ETSIADI in the Bachelor and Master in Design Engineering and trained by Stanford University in Life Design methodology.
The course is open to any profile. It is not necessary to be a university student or to have previous knowledge of design.
