In order to guarantee the right of all
students to pursue university studies,
the Ministry of Education, the Conselleria and the
own Universitat Politècnica de València
call for different scholarships and grants.
Ministry of Education and Vocational Training
The Ministry announces scholarships for students who will study at Spanish universities:
For the awarding of the scholarship, it is necessary not to exceed
economic thresholds established in the call for proposals. The
application is completed electronically through the web site at

The Conselleria announces scholarships for the realization of
university studies in the universities of the Comunitat
Valenciana. For the awarding of the scholarship it is necessary to

Valenciana and not exceeding the established income thresholds.

Polytechnic University of Valencia
The UPV announces various scholarships or grants whose presentation and awarding regime is established in each call for applications.
Social action grants
Dining vouchers are given to students so that they can eat at UPV cafeterias. The application form is available on the student’s intranet.
Technical aids for students with disabilities in collaboration with the CEDAT Foundation.
Its purpose is to provide the necessary technical aids for study, transportation and communication to students with educational needs associated with personal conditions of disability, in order to facilitate their access to university education and the development of their studies under equal conditions. The application form is available in the call for these aids.
Type B Collaboration Scholarships
The purpose of the type B collaboration grants is to complete the training of the student of the Universitat Politècnica de València, by carrying out a practical work related to R+D+i projects/activities. These scholarships are open to undergraduate students in their last two years, as well as to master’s degree students.
The calls for applications are published throughout the school year, and they establish the purpose of the scholarship, requirements, amount of money, dedication, tutor, etc.
Development cooperation scholarships
To carry out internships in other universities
The program also includes the participation of foreign students, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international organizations and other entities with social purposes within the framework of the studies that the students are taking (Meridies Cooperation and Development Cooperation Program).
Other scholarships
- Collaboration training scholarships (type A). The purpose of these scholarships is to train the scholarship recipient by carrying out activities that are closely related to the studies the student is pursuing. In exchange for an economic amount, the scholarship holders must carry out a series of activities in a department, center, institute or service. The calls for applications are published throughout the school year and establish the objectives and activities to be carried out, the merits to be valued, weekly dedication, etc.
- Aids for sporting excellence and elite university athletes, in order to promote and encourage the practice of sports at the UPV. The application form is available in the call itself.
- Academic exchange scholarships, to carry out stays in other Spanish or foreign universities, within the framework of the student’s studies (Erasmus and Promoe).
