DESCRIPTION:

Audiovisual Service of the ETSA (School of Architecture). This is a general service specialized in the management and maintenance of audiovisual equipment and technical assistance in general classrooms, the Salón de Grados and the Aula Magna. Advice on image and sound for teachers and students of the School.

AUDIOVISUAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE:

• Set-up and support of events in the Aula Magna, Projection Room, Graduate Hall and other rooms of the ETSA.
• Recording and realization of live events. Sound system.
• Digital broadcasting of events (Internet/Streaming).
• Simultaneous translation support.
• User support in the organization of events with audiovisual media.
• Maintenance of audiovisual equipment and installations ETSA.

AUDIO/VIDEO EDITING:

• The Audiovisual Service directly supports the CIA (Architectural Information Center) by producing DVD’s of all events, conferences, institutional acts, etc. The material is incorporated into the Video Library and is available to students and teachers for any consultation.
• Audio and video editing, video file compression (POLITUBE), format changes, republishing of audiovisual material to other audio/video supports.

VIDEOCONFERENCE SERVICE:

• The school has professional videoconferencing equipment for videoconferencing via IP.
• Management, testing and technical assistance for the implementation of high-definition videoconferencing connections between remote sites and ETSA.
• Possibility of point-to-point and multipoint connections (connection to several sites at the same time).

CLASSROOMS:

All ETSA classrooms are equipped with a multimedia system:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphone.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• Desktop PC.

GRADUATE ROOM: (Seating capacity 49)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• 3 Table microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).

The Salón de Grados is especially suitable for conferences, thesis readings, final projects and presentations in general.

PROJECTION ROOM: (Seating capacity 99)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphones.
• 4 Table microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).
• Closed-circuit video with 3 cameras (possibility of recording the event in various DVD or DV formats)
• Videoconference.

The Projection Room is particularly suitable for video projections, conferences, various presentations (books, projects), thesis readings and final projects, master’s degrees and courses.

MAIN CLASSROOM : (Seating capacity 333)

Equipment:

• Public Address System.
• Wireless microphones.
• 4 Table microphones.
• Video Projector (RGB, Video).
• PC (laptop).
• Closed-circuit video with 3 cameras (possibility of recording the event in various DVD or DV formats).
• Videoconference.
• Simultaneous translation booths for translation in up to 2 languages.

The Aula Magna is especially suitable for holding institutional events (opening and closing of courses…), small musical performances, national and international congresses, workshops, Masters.
