Entre Mares is a documentary and graphic exhibition that presents the history and heritage value of the ceramic mural “Agricultural cooperation between two seas”, created in 1981 in Valencia (Spain) and donated to the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between Spain and Costa Rica.
Through a visual timeline constructed from IICA’s institutional archives and the Tomás Miralles family archive, the exhibition narrates the creative process of the mural, its transfer and installation in Costa Rica, as well as its cultural, artistic and diplomatic importance.
The exhibition is developed within the framework of the Final Project of the Master in Advanced Architecture, Landscape, Urbanism and Design of the Universitat Politècnica de València, and seeks to promote the valorization of Valencian ceramics as a cultural heritage and bridge between territories.
