The Universitat Politècnica de València obtained certification of the implementation of the Teaching Activity Evaluation Model, within the framework of the DOCENTIA program, from ANECA in December 2012. The enhancement of the value of the teaching activity carried out in our University, through the certification achieved, allows to increase the quality of all processes related to the training of our students, and has been carried out annually and universally since then.
A substantial change has been made to the teaching activity evaluation model in order to adapt it to the new framework of the Docentia program, published in May 2021 by ANECA.
During the definition and improvement process, the entire university community has been involved through presentation meetings and the organization of different working groups open to the participation of the university community.
After two courses of pilot implementation, we are currently in the certification phase. The visit of the ANECA evaluation panel will take place next January 9, 2025. At 16.30h in the Honoris Room, there will be a public hearing with the certification panel, which can be attended by anyone from the university community.

2. Sources and procedures for collecting information
Part of the information collection and validation procedure of the DOCENTIA_UPV model is supported by the SENIA program, which makes the evaluation model viable and sustainable, while avoiding possible biases.
SENIA collects all the information necessary to generate the faculty self-report. Both the introduction process and the review and evaluation process are seasonally adjusted.
The sources of information used at the UPV to carry out and document the evaluation of the teaching activity of the teaching staff are the following:
• Teaching staff: teacher self-reporting
• Students: Student Surveys
• Academic managers (Dept. and ERT)
• Validating agents
• Teaching Evaluators: CED and CG
