The UPV, as a Valencian public institution, creates value and is able to develop a flexible, personalized and international learning ecosystem in which each student is the center of the teaching activity. The UPV is especially committed to increasing the number of young people and adults trained and trained to respond to the challenges of society, present and future.

Strategic objectives UPV_Vital

To accompany talent and promote the well-being and involvement of UPV staff, building an organization that anticipates and adapts to the needs of society.

An efficient public organization committed to the public service of higher education requires an adequate selection of talent, standardized management processes, as well as a broad institutional commitment to the people who make up the UPV, promoting their training and the enhancement of their skills and abilities;

To promote the attraction and retention of research talent, improving working conditions at the different stages of the research career.

UPV is committed to the successful performance in the generation, transfer, exchange and dissemination of knowledge and technological development, which necessarily requires the professional development of its research staff. UPV will always promote the welfare of these personnel, whatever their field of research and whatever stage of their career they are at;

Generate an academic offer in which each student is the center of the teaching-learning process, which continues throughout life.

Progress in the personalization of the training itinerary will allow society to recognize the training offered by the UPV and what each graduate can contribute to society. It is necessary to promote the accompaniment of students in the generation of a new academic curriculum, which requires new tools and training for the PAS and PDI;

Improve the employability and increase the entrepreneurship of students and staff.

Studying at the UPV is a good path to quality employment. The company should be involved in the training of students from the moment they enter the university and each student should be accompanied in their personal growth process, to facilitate their transition to the world of work;
