New interaction technologies are becoming an essential part for many professionals. To know their possibilities and what kind of benefits can give to them is essential. Human-Computer Interaction is changing. We will be interacting with devices in very new ways and professionals from any field should be able to understand these technologies.The planning for the course will be the next:
• An introduction to new human-computer interaction techniques and their role in new ways of working with data, companies, factories, and human interaction with each other, with special mention to those with some kind of disability.
• An introduction to Artificial Intelligence techniques and how they are improving this new way of interacting with devices, humans and the environment
• An introduction to Virtual and Augmented reality, their techniques, advantages and potential applications in a wide range of areas.
• A practical introduction to the development of these technologies, in a lab, where students will be able to create their own experiences
No previous knowledge is required. Students will have assignments and challenges accordingly to their specific backgrounds.
4.5 ECTS
Theoretical introduction of the concepts but a clear practical approach (in computer labs) in all the course, with many and real examples of different areas and their application in the real companies, industry and social applications.
