Due to the antiCOVID-19 measures, the library's spaces and services are undergoing modifications to adapt them to the new situation.
Public photocopiers, printers and scanners are out of order.
This course is going to be different because of the coronavirus. For that reason we have adapted our spaces and services so the university community can continue to have access to library resources.
All members of the university community are responsible for complying with the measures aimed at controlling and reducing the transmission of COVID-19. It is up to everyone to keep contagions away from our university.
Thank you fou your patience and understanding.
PRINTERS, PHOTOCOPIERS AND SCANNERS
The public access computers at the Central Library are connected to the reprographic equipment located on the first floor. The two photocopiers / printers work with a rechargeable card that can be obtained in the vending machine located also on the first floor.
This service depends directly of the UPV Reprography Service, which is responsible for its maintenance. There is a direct line to Reprography next to the printers to communicate any incident.
How do they work?
Selecting the "Print" option displays the printers located on the first floor so we can choose which one, ricoh106 or ricoh108, we want to send the document to.
The steps to follow to print once the work is launched are the following: enter the card, select on the screen the "Print Jobs" tab, choose our username from the list and then the document we want to print and press "Print".
Printing from your own PC laptop
To print from a laptop, go to "Devices and Printers" select "Add a printer" and, depending on the printer you want to use, type the following path:
Once selected you can choose the generic postscript driver or generic pcl driver. The drivers can also be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
A3 and A4 self service scanners are availible on the second floor in front of the circulation desk.
