The consequences of the DANA as it passes through the province of Valencia are catastrophic. The Universitat Politècnica de València has launched various volunteer and aid initiatives to help those affected, especially our university community, which we have compiled below and we update with each new initiative that is added:
Through this programme, students and members of the UPV university community will offer accommodation spaces in the vicinity of the Vera campus to welcome students who need them most.

The UPV has launched a fundraising campaign through its Patronage platform. The funds raised will be used to purchase material for the reconstruction of the affected municipalities.
Students from the Universitat Politècnica de València volunteer team, coordinated by the Social Action Area, are already helping to clean up the areas most affected by the DANA while transporting essential materials.

During the 4th, 5th and 6th of November, a collection of humanitarian materials is being carried out: water, blankets, sheets, clothes, footwear, food, and school materials in the Student House and the Falla del Politècnic hall.
