To all the Universitat Politčcnica de Valčncia community that has been affected by the DANA, and to the security and emergency forces deployed in the affected areas, we want to remind you that you are not alone.
We know that these times are especially hard for many, and we want to offer you all the support we can.
That is why we have set up a psychological support service available 24 hours a day.
If you need someone to talk to or just a space for support, you can access this service through the following link.
The Universitat Politčcnica de Valčncia (UPV) has a free Student Psychological Support Service, which can be especially important in these difficult times.
This service, created two years ago, is available to any student, police, health personnel, firemen, civil protection, etc., who needs emotional or psychological support.
The Service has online resources, which offer guidelines to provide support when sadness due to material and human losses converge with the academic stress of the exam period and rescue, emergency and relief work.
You will find workshops on Stress and anxiety, Mindfulness techniques, Progressive muscle relaxation techniques, and Deep breathing techniques...
Those interested should email the corresponding service, indicating their contact details and a brief description of the situation.
