The seminar given by Mr. Manuel Lage Marco offered an in-depth and chronological perspective on the technical evolution of heavy urban vehicles in Spain, connecting the historical milestones of the automobile with the current challenges in the design of propulsion systems. The students had the opportunity to analyze practical cases of technological transition and solutions for hybridization and alternative fuels.
The activity has had an excellent impact on the training of the students, allowing them to contrast the theoretical concepts of automotive engineering with the experience of a first level management profile. The subsequent debate will enrich the vision of the students of the Master (MUSPMS) about the reality of the current industrial environment and the skills required in the heavy transport sector.
This dissemination activity is part of the academic excellence actions of the University Research Institute CMT – Clean Mobility & Thermofluids, within the framework of the DINT26 grant call and in total alignment with the knowledge transfer objectives of the UPV SERVEIX Strategic Plan.
