The company Valeo one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world, is looking for an Hardware Engineer for your plant Martos (Jaén) one of the most important locations within the Business Group.Visibility Systems.
This plant is a benchmark in the development and manufacture of advanced lighting and electronics solutions applied to the most innovative vehicles on the market.

This position is of particular interest to students and graduates of the Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering (MUISE). The company’s focus is on electronic design, simulation, electromagnetic compatibility and embedded systems development.


About the position

Like Hardware Engineer you will work in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment, designing state-of-the-art electronic circuits for major automotive manufacturers. Your mission will be to develop hardware following customer specifications and the most advanced methodologies in the industry.


Main responsibilities

Define, develop and validate hardware design according to customer specifications and Valeo design rules.

  • Integrate constraints from different domains (HW, SW, mechanical, quality, industrialization) in the product design.
  • Collaborate with PCB design engineers and ensure layout quality.
  • Provide support in activities related to EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
  • Support customer validation and participate in design reviews.
  • Contribute to the improvement of design standards, methods and tools.

Profile required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience or knowledge in electronic hardware design.
  • Handling of simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, PSpice, Cadence…).
  • EMC best practices.
  • Use of laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
  • Passion for hardware design and the automotive industry.
  • Level of negotiation English.
