Description of the title

The Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Textile Engineering is an advanced training program designed to prepare textile engineers as leaders in innovation in a global context. Through the collaboration of prestigious institutions, this master’s degree enables students to acquire cutting-edge knowledge in textile-related disciplines and their application, while also developing interpersonal skills and a strong international network. The curriculum covers topics such as textile materials, production, and advanced applications in the sector, guaranteeing a multicultural and multidisciplinary educational experience. For access is required:

  • A degree in engineering or science
  • Minimum of 180 ECTS/three years or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 ECTS in mathematics, minimum 10 ECTS in chemistry and physics or equivalent (Japanese universities, minimum 10 credits in mathematics, minimum 5 credits in chemistry and minimum 5 credits in physics).
  • Students in their last year of undergraduate studies may apply for admission, being the student’s responsibility to have obtained the degree at the time of starting the Master’s program.

Internships

During the development of the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering Science, students have the opportunity to carry out external internships that will allow them to apply and enrich their knowledge in a real professional environment.

These internships can be carried out in various companies in the textile sector, as well as in academic and research institutions related to textile engineering.

Through this experience, students will be able to acquire practical skills, establish contacts in the industry and enhance their professional development, thus contributing to their integral formation as leaders in innovation in the textile field.

Master’s Thesis

To obtain the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering Science, you must defend a Master’s Thesis (TFM) at the end of the fourth semester.

This work will be developed in collaboration with AUTEX partner universities and will allow the application of the knowledge acquired throughout the program in practical and relevant projects.

Students will be able to choose from a variety of projects offered that align with their interests and professional goals, providing a unique opportunity to integrate into an international research and development environment.
