Access requirements

The requirements for access to the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering Science include:
- Hold a degree in engineering or science.
- Minimum of 180 ECTS (three years) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 ECTS in mathematics, and 10 ECTS in chemistry and physics or equivalent.
- Students in their last year of undergraduate studies may apply for admission, and must obtain the degree at the beginning of the master’s program.
- Proficiency in English, presenting one of the following certificates: Cambridge B2, IELTS (minimum 6.5 with at least 6 for writing), TOEFL (minimum 570 paper or 86 Internet), or TOEIC (minimum 1560).
Admission for disabled students
For students with specific educational needs arising from a disability, appropriate support and counseling services will be established to assess the needs of curricular adaptations, itineraries or alternative studies, through the support of the CEDAT Foundation of the UPV.
The CEDAT Foundation of the UPV offers information and advice to members of the university community with disabilities, as well as accompaniment and support in the classroom. In addition, it provides technical aids for study to those members of the student body who, due to their special educational needs, require it. It also promotes and manages training and employment actions for this group, both inside and outside the UPV campuses, and offers different services from its Special Employment Center.
The foundation also carries out projects for the elimination of architectural and urban barriers, comprehensive accessibility plans, accessibility audits, project reviews, advice and design of ideal accessibility models.

Admission criteria
The admission criteria for the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering Science include:

Engineering or science degree
Hold a degree in engineering or science with a minimum of 180 ECTS (three years) or equivalent.
B
Subject-specific requirements
To have at least 15 ECTS in mathematics, as well as a minimum of 10 ECTS in chemistry and physics or equivalent.
C
Students in their last year of undergraduate studies
Applicants in their final year of undergraduate studies may apply, but must obtain the degree before beginning the master’s program.
D
English language proficiency
English language proficiency is required, which can be demonstrated by one of the following certificates: Cambridge B2 Certificate, IELTS (minimum 6.5), TOEFL (minimum 570 on paper or 86 on the Internet), or TOEIC (minimum 1560). These certificates must be no more than five years old from the start date of the program.
Scholarships
WE-TEAM SCHOLARSHIP
The Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme itself offers a scholarship that is awarded, upon approval by the Master’s Academic Committee, to some students who indicate their interest during the pre-enrolment phase. This scholarship partially covers participation costs and provides additional support to the top-performing students.
It will be available from the 2026–2028 edition onwards, provided the programme is funded by the European Union. It partially covers participation costs and provides additional support to the best students.
TUITION FEE WAIVERS
Partial tuition fee waivers are another funding option. These waivers will be granted to students with the best academic records, subject to approval by the Master’s Academic Committee.
If neither the Erasmus Mundus scholarship nor a fee waiver is obtained, students may still enrol as self-funded participants.
NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Studies leading to an official university degree allow access to scholarships and grants for all students of Spanish nationality. The Ministry of Education, the Valencian Government (Generalitat Valenciana), and the Universitat Politècnica de València each offer various scholarship and grant opportunities.

General scholarships for students pursuing post-compulsory studies valid throughout the national territory. The scholarship will consist of exemption from payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), corresponding to subjects enrolled for the first time. Other fixed and variable amounts may also be obtained, if the requirements established for this purpose are met.

For the awarding of the scholarship it is necessary to prove administrative residence in the Valencian Community and not to exceed the income thresholds established by the call, as well as to comply with the general and academic requirements. The scholarship consists of the exemption from the payment of fees for the provision of university academic services (tuition fees), for subjects enrolled in first and second enrollment.
The Universitat Politècnica de València offers various scholarships or grants such as social action grants, canteen grants or collaboration training grants. There are also grants for sportsmen and women.

The Erasmus Mundus Master in Science in Textile Engineering offers the possibility of accessing various scholarships to facilitate international mobility and funding for students. Pre-registration process
