With data from 2022 this analysis aims to show the levels of use and occupancy of the classrooms in the different buildings of the UPV.
We call Utilization the percentage of hours that the different classrooms are used during the semesters. It is calculated by adding all the hours and considering that a semester has 12 sets of 5 days and each day has two periods (morning and afternoon) of 6.5 hours each.
We call Occupancy the use of the tables. There is an average occupancy (weighted with respect to actual use) and a maximum occupancy (the highest number of students that could be in the classroom).
