Award for UPV-innovation at IPFest

The program UPV-innovation received the award for knowledge transfer communication at the IPFest forum on November 25 in Madrid;

The first edition of IPFest was promoted by some companies of the national innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem to recognize the work of knowledge transfer in Spain. The event took place at the municipal center “La Esfera” in Alcobendas (Madrid). The ceremony awarded various professionals responsible for bringing to the market and society all the knowledge of Spanish research. Among the winners was Fernando Conesa, who received an award for his professional career and also received the award on behalf of UPV-innovation.

Fernando C. is head of the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), known as the Service for the Promotion and Support of Research, Innovation and Transfer (I2T).  “The UPV-innovation award is the result of the efforts of a whole team. In this area, as in others, UPV shines”, said F. Conesa.

Moreover, after the gala, Salvador Coll, Vice Rector for Innovation and Transfer of the UPV, expressed his congratulations to the team. “The award received by UPV-innovation is proof of the excellent work of the UPV community, at all levels, and proof of the commitment of everyone. Initiatives like this, which make us more efficient in projecting talent and knowledge to society, contribute to making UPV a special university and make us stronger.”
