The initiative TRL UP is the new program promoted by UPV Innovation that aims to encourage the successful participation in calls for proposals for valorization and proof of concept programs for maturing UPV research results.
TRL UP drives the valorization of scientific-technological UPV results by protecting them by the law and their progression on the TRL scale, thus placing them in transfer conditions that are closer to the market.
The program aims to contribute to improve the transfer and market approach of proposals submitted to the various competitive calls for proof-of-concept projects.
To this end, TRL UP initially offers research teams wishing to apply for this type of project a pathway of three consulting and training sessions during the first months of 2023. For projects in the medical field, additional seminars focused on health regulations will be offered.
In addition, funding will be available for advice from consulting firms with experience in preparing proof-of-concept proposals for both the overall advice and the drafting of the market, dissemination and results transfer parts of the proposal.
