UPV Talent Recruitment Program


The nextFebruary 27th will take place on 8th editionof the UPV’s Talent Recruitment Program;STAYorganized by the Vice Rectorate for Employment and Lifelong Learning. The event aims to incorporate young university students with talent in organizations committed to employment.

A total of 100 students and graduates and more than 30 prestigious companies will participate in the event.

This program aims to reward those students and graduates who have been selected both for their academic record and for their training in transversal competencies, helping them to enter the labor market. The Universitat Politècnica de València puts these university talents in contact with HR managers of large companies. This is a pioneering initiative in Spanish public universities.

The program STAY has received the award Innovation in Management UPV within the XVII awards of the Social Council year 2018.

Theenrollment period of participants will remain openfrom September 16 to October 16, 2024.

Registration

If you want to be one of the 100 selected to participate in the conference, do not hesitate to register. The registration period will be open fromSeptember 16 to October 16, 2024.

To participate, you must meet the following requirements:

Participant requirements

  • UPV student: Enrolled in the last year of a bachelor’s degree or enrolled in an official master’s degree.
  • UPV graduates: Completed studies in the last two years prior to the current one.
  • Good academic record.
  • Level B2 English.
  • Not to have been part of the 100 selected in previous editions.
  • Be registered in the Employment database.

Once you have registered, your resume will be evaluated based on the following selection criteria (Phase 1). If you pass this phase, you will be able to take part in the group dynamics from which the 100 participants will be selected, as well as the 20 reserves that will participate in the QUÉDATE challenge.

Phases of the Quédate program

Phase 1: Evaluation of merits

Aspects to be evaluated:

  • Languages
  • Have completed an internship in a company
  • Stays abroad
  • Membership in NGOs
  • Elite athlete
  • Conservatory studies
  • Average grade on file
  • Entrepreneurship actions
  • Membership in student associations (Spontaneous Generation)

Selection criteria (display)

Phase 2: Group dynamics

Candidates who pass Phase 1 will be called together in groups of 15 people for a group dynamic.

Period of the dynamics: September 30 to October 18, 2024.

Phase 3: Completion of the curriculum profile

The curriculum vitae shall consist of professional objectives, achievements and highlights of the candidacy.

Period: October 25 to November 1, 2024.

Phase 4: Quédate Talent Recruitment Day

Dynamics, networking with companies and participants.
