QUALITY POLICIES
In order to define the mission and vision of the organization, the following policies are established: 1. To facilitate practical training through theEducational Cooperation Programs and Internship Programs Abroad. 2. To favor the insertion of UPV students and graduates in the labor market. 3. To carry out the labor intermediation between supply and demand of technical employment, through an efficient and quality service. 4. Encourage greater awareness and promotion of the service’s activities among our users, boosting the adoption of this type of actions. 5. Effectively manage the services offered to ensure the satisfaction of the needs, requirements and expectations of our users. 6. Establish a continuous observatory of the labor market in order to obtain indicators that measure the labor market insertion process of UPV graduates, as well as the needs of the economic and social environment in the Valencian Community, in order to adapt the university’s training offer to these needs. 7. To guarantee, through adequate training, the growth in competencies of the SIE staff, and to achieve the implementation of a system of continuous improvement. The management of the organization is committed to adopt a quality policy, based on the creation and implementation of a Quality Manual, committing to keep it updated and make continuous improvements. This quality policy will be applied at all levels of the organization in order to achieve total user satisfaction with the service. To this end, the necessary procedures will be established for its achievement. |
SIE MISSION, VISION AND VALUES
Mission:
The mission of the SIE is to contribute to the mission of the UPV, through the aims and objectives that the Service defines as its own: The SIE has, among others, the following Aims and Objectives:
- Generate and manage UPV initiatives to support the most appropriate labor market insertion of its graduates, in the shortest possible time after graduation.
- To provide complementary training to students and graduates to promote their employability, through the management of internships in companies, labor intermediation, professional orientation, training for employment and labor market insertion studies.
In addition, its main objective is to contribute, together with the different management and academic units, to the fulfillment of the mission, vision and values of each of the Strategic Plans that the UPV implements.
Vision:
The SIE aims to:
- To be a service that facilitates university-business relations for the better fulfillment of the university’s objectives for the employment of graduates.
- To be a service that contributes to the complementary training of students and graduates in social skills for employment.
- To be a service that provides the university’s management bodies with the necessary information on the characteristics of the labor market insertion process of its graduates.
- To be a service that provides students and graduates with quality internship and job offers, appropriate to their area of expertise and level of training.
- To be an innovative and creative service at the service of the UPV’s governing bodies and clients: students and companies.
- To be a motivated and efficient team, capable of satisfying the needs and expectations of its customers, and with a strong social and environmental commitment.
