What if, in just one week, you could start turning an idea into a business venture?
Come back week [EMPRENDE], a hands-on experience to discover the world of entrepreneurship, connect with other students who share similar interests, and learn how to turn ideas into projects with potential.
Through hands-on workshops, master class through dynamic activities, you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of a team, learn from entrepreneurs, and experience firsthand what it means to launch a startup. All while developing new skills, sharing knowledge, and taking your first steps in the UPV’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
You don’t need to have a revolutionary idea or know where to start. All you need is curiosity, initiative, and a desire to take action.
What will you take away from weekEMPRENDE?
- Give shape to your ideas. Learn how to validate an idea and take the first steps toward turning it into a business venture.
- Find your team. Connect with other students, share your talents, and discover people with whom you can launch new projects.
- Learn from real-life experience. Take part in workshops and master class on prototyping, early customers, marketing, financing, and legal issues.
- Discover the UPV’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Get to know the STARTUPV startups up close and expand your network.
- Test your project. Get ready to present your proposal at a pitch competition in front of a jury and the other participants. Plus, you’ll be eligible for prizes.
Don’t have an idea? It’s for you, too!
You can participate with an idea of your own, come with your team, or join a project led by other classmates. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on one of the ideas proposed at the beginning of the course.
Because entrepreneurship isn’t just about having an idea—it also means knowing how to collaborate, spot opportunities, learn from mistakes, and find the right people to make it a reality.

weekEMPRENDE will be held on November 16 and 19, 2026, in person at STARTUPV.
The event is open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students at the UPV, as well as alumni of the university. In addition, it is free for eligible participants and allows them to earn 2 ECTS credits.
