We encourage you to participate in this new edition of the START-UPV Alcoy Campus contest.
If you have a business idea and you are a graduate of the Campus d’Alcoi of the UPV or a university student studying a degree, master’s degree, doctorate or own degrees in the Campus d’Alcoi of the UPV encourage you to participate in the XI edition of the contest START UPV CAMPUS D’ALCOI.
8.000€ | 8 prizes
TWO CATEGORIES of awards are established:
1-Awards “IDEA EMPRENDE” (IDEA EMPRENDE) – TOTAL ENDOWMENT: 6.000€.
A total of 6 prizes are established, distributed in two prizes for each of the following three subcategories:
- TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION: a first prize of 1.300€ and a second prize of 700€.
- IMPACT ON CAMPUS ENVIRONMENTFirst prize of €1,300 and second prize of €700.
- SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT:a first prize of 1.300€ and a second prize of 700€.
2-Awards “MUJER EMPRENDE”. – TOTAL ENDOWMENT: 2.000€.
A total of 2 prizes are established (a first prize of 1.300€ and a second prize of 700€).
PURPOSE
The purpose of this call is to award a maximum of eight financial prizes to recognize initiatives arising from the UPV Alcoy Campus, to promote entrepreneurship in the UPV university environment and to encourage the use of the START UPV Entrepreneurial Space at the Alcoy Campus.
BENEFICIARIES
Participation may be individual or collective.
Entrepreneurs with innovation potential who are UPV graduates or UPV students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year, pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral or doctoral degrees, and who meet the following requirements, may participate in this call:
- In the case of an individual candidacy, the participant must belong to the Campus d’Alcoi of the UPV.
- In case the candidacy is presented by a group of entrepreneurs, at least one of them must belong to the UPV Campus d’Alcoi;
Winners of previous editions of the START UPV CAMPUS D’ALCOI competition in any of the categories specified in the call for entries are not eligible to enter the competition.
Companies promoted by UPV staff from UPV university research activity (Spin-off UPV) are not eligible to apply.
The submission of the registration form for participation implies acceptance of the terms and conditions of the call for entries.
MORE INFORMATION, DOCUMENTATION AND REGISTRATION:
Each participant or team may participate in the “IDEA EMPRENDE” category and/or in the “MUJER EMPRENDE” category (if requirements are met). No more than one prize may be awarded per participant or team.
The names of the winners will be made public at the official awards ceremony, which will be held at the UPV Alcoi campus on a date no later than June 19, 2026.
