The Alcoy Campus of the UPV, through IDEAS UPV, and the City Council of Alcoy organize the 12th edition of the contest “ideaT UPV Campus of Alcoy – Àgora Emprenedors” for students of educational centers studying High School, Middle Level Training Cycles or Higher Level Training Cycles related to the Degree in Business Administration and Management. The presentation took place at the IES Fray Ignacio Barrachina of Ibi, winner of the previous edition.
This edition has been presented by Nuria Reig, from the Department of Economics of the IES Fray Ignacio Barrachina de Ibi, Pau Bernabeu, director of the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, Alberto Belda, Councillor for Education of the City of Alcoy, and by the winning students of the last edition, Carlos Díaz and Aitana Sanjuan.
Each center will have to choose the 3 best projects presented and the best project of each center and the best of all the centers will be awarded.
The deadline for applications is February 21, 2025 at midnight.
An in-person event will be held on March 21 to release the awards.
What is IDEAS UPV?
IDEAS UPV is the driving force behind any entrepreneurial initiative arising from the UPV. It focuses on the university community helping them to develop their entrepreneurial skills. They are also informed, guided and advised in the creation and growth of their company or business project. It should be noted that they carry out different actions to dynamize the territory in collaboration with different agents, such as this contest.
This contest aims to encourage students to develop competencies, skills, abilities and aptitudes in entrepreneurship. All schools and therefore, participating students, will also have the technical support and use of the ESPACIO ÁGORA of the City of Alcoy.
It is aimed at educational centers that teach Baccalaureate, Middle Level Training Cycles or Higher Level Training Cycles related to the Business Administration and Management Degree.
The candidacy for the competition will consist of the elaboration of an entrepreneurial initiative in teams of 2 to 4 components presenting a business idea based on any sector:
– They must have been made by the authors.
– No more than one application may be submitted per participant.
– Each center must select the 3 best projects that it submits to the contest.
