II Edition Course on Electric Battery Technologies (PowerCo)

ETSIADI’s PowerCo Chair launches the second edition of the Electric Battery Technologies Course

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), through its Center for Lifelong Learning (CFP), is launching thesecond edition of the Electric Battery Technologies Coursea specialized training of40 hours to be taughtfrom January 27 to February 19, 2026.

The course is100 % financed by the PowerCo ChairThis allows us to offer high-level training at no cost to students, and consolidates our position as a strategic initiative for training in one of the key technological areas of the energy transition and electric mobility.

Specialized training in a key technology for the industry

The program comprehensively addresses theelectric battery technologiescovering from theraw materials and their processingtheelectrode and cell manufacturingtheelectrochemistry of batteriestheelectric vehicle architecturethethermal and electrical managementto thefuture technologiesthelife cycle analysis (LCA) and thebattery recycling.

The training combines a visionindustrial, technological and scientificaligned with the current needs of the energy sector and the electric car industry.

Renowned faculty and university-industry collaboration

The course is attended by professors and experts from the following countriesUPV research institutes and ofleading companies in the sectoramong them:

  • Institute of Materials Technology (ITM)
  • Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ)
  • Department of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering (DIQN)
  • Institute of Design and Manufacturing (IDF)
  • Center for Mobility and Thermofluids (CMT)
  • Companies such asPowerCo yAVL

The course is especially oriented toengineering studentsand professionals interested in the following areas of expertisebattery technologies, electric mobility and energy storageas well as its industrial and environmental impact.

Classes will be held atTuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.in theUPV Continuing Education Center classrooms.
