SEARCH FOR LIFE ON MARS: From the UPV to NASA – Landing Sites and Space Exploration

The talk will cover the trajectory of the speaker Dr. Angélica Anglés, from her studies in Geomatics Engineering and Topography at the UPV to her current work in the search for life on Mars. She will explain how she uses terrestrial analogues -places with conditions similar to those on Mars- to study environments where life could have arisen. She will also share her experience as an astronaut analog in space mission simulations. Finally, she will present her work in selecting landing sites for NASA to identify promising areas to search for biosignatures.
