TheXVI National Packaging Awardsorganized by thePackaging Innovation Clusterhave awarded theyoung talentthe company, betting on thesustainability and putting theinnovation to the service of people.
More than 300 entries were received from 22 centers, universities and design schools. The universities that have won the first prize in this edition are l’Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de València, the Universidad Europea de Valencia, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), the Universidad Ramón Llull – Escuela Superior de Diseño (ESDI) and the Universidad de Zaragoza.
Yogurts that keep pace
In the food sector,Pascual has launched a challenge to design new sustainable packaging for drinkable or spoonable dairy products, especially for children and teenagers, taking into account that it should be attractive, functional and logistically efficient.
The winners wereClara Isabel Vercher (ETSIADI)Nerea Tarín (EPSA) y Alejandra Campos (ETSIADI) of thePolytechnic University of Valencia(UPV), with “yogGO, the yogurt that follows the rhythm”, a proposal that combines practicality and fun. It is a versatile and fun packaging, with colored lids depending on the flavor and an illustrated design in which each fruit appears on a yogurt spoon. It can be spooned, sipped or even frozen as a popsicle, adapting to the active and changing lifestyles of children and teenagers.
Cluster Quarry Plan Award
The Cluster Quarry Plan Award has also been granted to one of the participating students, who has received a scholarship from the Packaging Cluster for the completion of theMaster in Digital Marketingtaught by ESIC Business & Marketing School. A scholarship valued at19.600 € whose winner wasAdriana Torija Palaciosa student at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeroespacial y Diseño Industrial of the Universidad de laPolytechnic University of Valencia.
