The UPV is announcing the fifth edition of these awards, through which it will once again recognize the work carried out by its research staff.
The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has announced a new edition of its Research Awards, an initiative through which, for the past five years, it has recognized and highlighted the research, outreach, and knowledge transfer activities of its research staff.
In total, for this fifth edition, awards will be presented in six different categories: Award for Outstanding Research Impact, Award for Outstanding Research Publication, Award for Outstanding Research Career, Award for Research Media Impact, Award for Science Communication, and Award for Knowledge Transfer.
Knowledge Transfer Award
No application is required to be eligible for these awards. The only exception is the Knowledge Transfer category, where the nomination must be submitted by the research staff who produced the knowledge that was transferred.
In this case, applications must pertain to a single instance of technology transfer involving a specific research outcome generated at the UPV, regardless of whether that outcome has resulted in one or more forms of technology transfer (licensing, business creation, contracts with companies, provision of services, development of regulations, or others).
The application will be submitted via the Standard Application Form available on the awards website, with a limit of five pages in total, accompanied, if applicable, by supporting documentation for any evidence provided that is not included in the UPV’s databases.
The deadline for submitting nominations for this category is September 18.
