Resolution of the Vice-rectorate for Studies, Quality, Accreditation and Languages of the Universitat Politècnica de València, by which 1000 grants are announced to support the registration for the CertAcles B2 or C1 exam in English.

- Applicants for the B2 scholarship:
- Have passed a B2 level course in your school or faculty.
- To have accredited the level of B2 in the degree from any of the routes provided for in the UPV regulations.

- Accredit the level of B2 from any certificate recognized in the ACLES tables.
- Have completed a C1 level or higher at the Language Center.

OBJECT OF THE CALL
The purpose of this call for proposals is the awarding by theVice-rectorate for the Organization of Studies, Quality, Accreditation and Languages of 1000 grants to help students enrolled at the Universitat Politècnica de València who can prove that they meet the requirements stipulated in the regulatory bases of the procedure.
AMOUNT OF AID AND BUDGET APPROPRIATION
Each scholarship/grant is endowed with a maximum of 50 € corresponding to a part of the registration fees for the CertAcles certificate (B2 or C1).
The economic endowment of the aid will be subject to the corresponding withholding established in the current regulations.
This call will be financed from the budget item 005070000 for a maximum/total amount of 50,000 € applicable to the fiscal year 2025, there being adequate and sufficient budget appropriation.
TARGET
These scholarships are aimed at UPV undergraduate and master’s degree students.
Scholarship applicants must meet, by the application deadline, one of the following requirements:
Applicants for the B2 scholarship:
- Have passed a B2 level course in your school or faculty.
- To have accredited the level of B2 in the degree from any of the routes provided for in the UPV regulations.
- Have completed a B2 level or higher at the Language Center.
Scholarship applicants for C1:
- Accredit the level of B2 from any certificate recognized in the ACLES tables.

DOCUMENTATION AND APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications shall be accompanied by the following documentation:
- Justification of compliance with any of the requirements indicated in the call for applications.
- Photocopy of ID card and UPV 2024/2025 ENROLLMENT FORM
Applications, along with the rest of the documentation must be submitted at any of the UPV Registry offices or by any of the means established in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The deadline for submitting applications begins on February 6, 2025 and ends on March 25, 2025.
If the application does not meet the requirements established in the rules of the call, the competent body will request the interested party to correct it within a maximum and non-extendable period of 10 days, indicating that if he/she does not do so, he/she will be considered to have withdrawn his/her application.
The presentation of the application implies the acceptance of the bases, as well as the obligations derived from the legal framework for grants and subsidies.
INSTRUCTING BODY AND SELECTION COMMITTEE
The competent body for the instruction of the procedure is the Language Center of the UPV The means of publication of any act that is dictated will be the web page of the Language Center of the UPV. https://www.cdl.upv.es
A Selection Committee will be appointed to evaluate and propose the beneficiaries. In all cases, the Commission will submit the proposal to the Rector for final resolution.
The Selection Committee may declare the scholarships vacant if the requirements are not met or for other reasons, which shall be duly justified and the proposal shall be submitted to the Rector for final resolution.
The Commission will resolve any incidents that may arise during the call for applications with objectivity and transparency.
The Examining Body and the Selection Committee undertake not to disseminate, transmit or disclose to third parties any information in their own interest or in the interest of third parties in relation to the documentation submitted.
The evaluation and proposal of the beneficiaries will be carried out by a Selection Committee. The Commission will select and propose the winners, once the applications have been reviewed and the evaluation criteria have been applied, based on the documentation provided.

The Evaluation Commission shall be governed by the provisions of Articles 15 and following of Law 40/2015, of October 1, of the Public Sector Legal Regime.
VALUATION CRITERIA
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis.
The scales and evaluation criteria to be applied shall be objective, non-discriminatory and respect the principle of equality.
The applications submitted will be ranked according to the order of submission.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF BENEFICIARIES
The beneficiaries of the grants are obliged to:
- Accept the terms and conditions of this call for applications.
- To use the aid for the purpose for which it is granted.
- Submit to the verification actions that may be carried out by the competent bodies, being obliged to provide all the information and documentation that may be required for this purpose.
- Communicate the obtaining of subsidies or scholarships for the same purpose, charged to the General State Budget or to the Autonomous, Local or Institutional Administration or Public or Private Entities.
- Accept the obligations derived from the legal framework for grants and subsidies.
Failure to comply with these obligations, as well as failure to submit the corresponding supporting documentation, will result in the loss of the aid and, if applicable, the return of the amounts already received.
The aids object of the present call will be incompatible with the perception for the same course of any other scholarship or economic benefit granted, for the same purpose, with charge to the General State Budget or to the Autonomous, Local or Institutional Administration Organism or Public or Private Entities.
SELECTION PROCEDURE AND RESOLUTION
The concession procedure consists of the following steps:
- Submission of applications: applications together with the rest of the documentation shall be submitted in the manner, place and within the period stipulated in the fourth clause of the call for applications.
The presentation of the application implies the acceptance of these rules, as well as the obligations derived from the legal framework for grants and subsidies.
- Publication of the provisional list of those admitted and excluded: the examining body will publish the list on the UPV Language Center website. https://www.cdl.upv.es the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants, indicating the reasons for exclusion, if any. The interested parties will have a period of 5 working days to make any allegations and/or corrections they deem convenient.
- Publication of the definitive list of those admitted and excluded: the examining body, taking into account the allegations and/or corrections presented, will publish the list on the UPV Language Center’s website. https://www.cdl.upv.es the definitive list of applicants admitted and excluded from the procedure. It will also be communicated to all interested parties via e-mail.
- Evaluation: the Selection Committee will evaluate the applications on the basis of the objective award criteria established in the third base and will issue the corresponding reasoned report.
- Resolution proposal: the examining body, taking into account the reports issued by the Selection Committee and the file, will formulate the provisional resolution proposal, duly motivated, which will be published on the website of the UPV Language Center. https://www.cdl.upv.es
- A period of 5 working days will be granted to present the allegations and/or attach the documents deemed appropriate against this resolution proposal. The examining body, taking into account the allegations presented, will submit the final resolution proposal to the Rector.
- Final resolution: the Rector will issue a reasoned resolution of the final award, which will be published on the website of the Language Center of the UPV. https://www.cdl.upv.es All interested parties will also be notified via e-mail.

Interested parties may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, limitation or opposition to processing by providing a copy of an official document that identifies them and, where appropriate, documentation supporting their request to the Data Protection Officer of the Universitat Politècnica de València, General Secretariat. RESOURCES
Against this call and its bases, as well as against the resolution of this call, which exhaust the administrative channels, an appeal for reversal may be lodged before the Rectorate of the UPV within one month, counted from the day following the day of its publication, in accordance with the provisions of articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, or contentious-administrative appeal before the bodies of contentious-administrative jurisdiction of the Valencian Community, within two months counted from the day following the day after the notification of this resolution, in accordance with articles 14 and 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.
