The Centro de Lenguas is an official examination center for the Cambridge English ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) certificates, offering the following exams for the general public:
- B1 Preliminary (PET)
- B2 First (FCE)
- C1 Advanced (CAE)
- C2 Proficiency (CPE)

Cambridge ESOL Examinations
Before the end of the enrollment period, a refund of fees may be requested for justified written cause.
Once the registration period has ended, a refund of fees may only be requested for justified medical reasons.
The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Cambridge English Language Assessment exams certify the knowledge of the English language. Cambridge English Language Assessment certificates are recognized for their ability to measure knowledge of ‘real’ English, the language that is used every day in both leisure and professional situations.
These diplomas are recognized in Europe and the United States, which broadens the options for the future both academically and professionally. Each exam is composed of the following tests:
- A reading comprehension test
- A listening comprehension test
- A written expression test
- A grammar test (except in BEC)
- An oral test
Registration deadlines and fees
Registration deadline:
Until October 31, 2025 (last day for payment of fees: 31/10/25) for PET(B1) and CPE(C2).
Until November 7, 2025 (last day for payment of fees: 07/11/25) for FCE(B2).
Until October 23, 2025 (last day for payment of fees: 23/10/25) for CAE(C1).
All registrations that have not been paid for by the last day of payment indicated will be cancelled.
Registration for the UPV exams can be done online through the PIC website ( http://www.cfp.upv.es). The exams are intended for the general public.
It is essential to have updated personal data on the PIC website and date of birth (otherwise the CDL may cancel the registration).
No refunds of fees will be accepted at the end of the registration period.
