The film, that tells the story of Kevin Mitnick’s –possibly the most famous hacker in history– can be seen on Wednesday, October 22, from 4.30 pm (building 1E, free admission)
The Office of Cultural Activities of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) presents the II Cinema series of the Informatics Museum at its School of Informatics (ETSINF, in Spanish), in which four films about significant international figures in the IT world (Kevin Mitnick, Mark Zuckerberg, Julian Assange and Steve Jobs) will be screened.
The series will start on Wednesday, October 22, with the screening of “Hackers 2” (2000), the film directed by Joe Chapelle that tells the story of Kevin Mitnick, possibly the most famous hacker in history.
The screening will start at 4.30 pm at building 1E of the ETSINF, with free entry for anyone interested – both UPV university community members or and non-members- until the venue reaches maximum capacity.
The series, that will be completed with the screening of “The social network” (November, 26), “The Fifth Estate” (February, 18) and “Jobs” (March, 22), aims to bring the public closer to the different sides of the IT world in an entertaining way, through the language of film.
