Quantitative Methods to Support Decision Making (3B)
Subject name
Quantitative Methods to Support Decision Making
Abstract
The aim of this subject is to provide students the knowledge of a number of
quantitative models and tools (Decision Theory, Games Theory, Dynamic
Programming and Markov Processes) in order to support them for addressing
decision-making problems. Because of the application of these techniques
require to understand in detail the problems and their different variants, the
subject is based on an applied approach, in which for each problem type the
characteristics and relationships within the system formed by the organization
are previously addressed.
