In order to access official undergraduate studies, students with foreign studies in non-EU countries or without an agreement must meet the academic requirements for access to Spanish university studies and apply for a place through the Pre-registration system.

The steps to follow are:

Apply, through the Spanish Ministry of Education, for the homologation of the Spanish baccalaureate degree, or apply for the validation of foreign Vocational Training studies for the equivalent Spanish degree.

Verify, through the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), the access requirements and the admission grade to Spanish university studies (up to 6 points, corresponding to the conversion to the Spanish grading system of those obtained in the pre-university studies of origin).

Improve the admission mark up to a maximum of 10 points by passing subject examinations in the UNED's Specific Skills Tests (PCE).

Apply for a place through the Pre-registration system (for all degrees offered by public universities (except for those with no admission limit).
