Under the title “Integration of the electric vehicle in the electric grid: from the electrification of transport to the active operation of the system”, the session dealt comprehensively with the technical impact of the deployment of the electric vehicle in the current distribution networks. Smart Charging management methodologies, the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) concept and how the mobile power supply can contribute to the stability and active operation of the electric system were analyzed.
The seminar has been of great added value for the students of the Master in Propulsion Systems for Sustainable Mobility (MUSPMS), providing an indispensable interdisciplinary vision that connects the engineering of propulsion systems with the electric grid infrastructure. The transfer of this expert knowledge provides future graduates with key tools to face the transition towards the decarbonization of transport.
Activity financed by the call for DINT26 grants for the visit of professors and researchers, directly linked to the lines of internationalization and sustainability of the UPV SERVEIX Strategic Plan.
