The Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering (MUISE) organizes the seminar“Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems”which will be held onJune 11 and 12during the hours of15:00 a 20:00in the7F basement classroom.
The seminar will be given byJosé Luis García de VicuñaUniversity Professor at thePolytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and head of the research group ofElectronic Power and Control Systems. His research activity is focused on the nonlinear control of power converters and the modeling and control of electrical microgrids, with extensive experience in teaching and research in power electronics.
📅 Seminar contents
This seminar will review themain power topologies used in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, along with their control fundamentals, addressing both conventional approaches and advanced control techniques.nonlinear control.
Agenda:
- Power topologies in uninterruptible power supply systems
- Conventional control of UPS systems
- Non-linear control of UPS systems
- Comparative study between conventional and nonlinear control techniques
This seminar offers an advanced and rigorous view of the design and control of UPS systems, providing students with key tools for the analysis and development of power electronics solutions. The seminar has been funded thanks to the SIRVE project of the UPV.
