As part of the Master’s Degree Program in Innovation in the Built Environment (muHAB), Eva Álvarez, who teaches the course “Social Sustainability I,” along with Carlos Gómez, a professor of the same course, organized a session with Matxalen Acasuso and Paz Martín titled New Ways of Living, in connection with the work of the 2030 Observatory of the Higher Council of Architects’ Associations of Spain (CSCAE) and the initiative HABITATU and Emerging Spaces. The conference will address changes in ways of living and their relationship to new housing models, the transformation of domestic and communal spaces, and the need to incorporate criteria of social sustainability, inclusion, and diversity into architectural design.
This activity is part of the master’s program’s educational activities focused on experiential learning and is aligned with the UPV SIRVE Strategic Plan, promoting connections between universities, professionals, and society, as well as raising awareness of new strategies to address contemporary housing needs
