In the master we connect the global with the local in different ways. This year we will again have the opportunity to visit the Valencian municipality of Aras de los Olmos, where we will learn about innovative and integrated sustainable projects in the territory. They are developed jointly between local actors, university (Universitat de València and UPV), private sector and various social agents, being the reference Big History Center for scientific and environmental dissemination of Aras, supported by the Fundación El Olmo.
It will be the next wednesday, june 17. We will depart by bus at 8:15 am from the UPV and return to the campus in the afternoon. The visit will allow us to reinforce the concepts seen in the master on development and cooperation, as well as to know the natural, ethnographic and patrimonial values that are the basis to develop initiatives of entrepreneurship and development that limit the rural depopulation suffered by the area.
If you are interested, write to mastercooperacion@upv.es Open to the university community, but with limited places.
The visit is possible thanks to the support of the SIRVE UPV Strategic Plan.
