ABET Accreditation Renewal Process

The reaccreditation process of the 10 UPV programs that have been awarded the prestigious quality seal awarded by the ABET engineering commission is underway.

Once the reaccreditation request has been accepted by ABET, a working group in which all the degrees and the different services of the UPV are represented are drafting the self-reports that must be sent to ABET in the month of June. During the month of November, an accreditation panel from the agency will visit the UPV to hold meetings with all the agents involved.

The contribution of graduates, employers, administrative and service personnel, teaching and research personnel, and of course students, is important for the accreditation process to be profitable and for the seal to be renewed for the next 6 years.
