UPV expands its electric mobility infrastructure with 27 new dual chargers

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has completed the installation of 27 new 22 kW dual recharging pointsfor the purpose of..;54 parking spacesin the covered parking of the Vera Campus. This action represents a significant expansion with respect to the initial approach of the project, which contemplated 20 double loaders for 37 parking spaces.

This new deployment is part of the project developed under thegrants for the promotion of electric vehicle recharging infrastructures in the Valencian Region.

The UPV announced the start of this process in May 2024, when it received the grants. The total investment amounts to 379,160 € + VAT of which 75.832 € correspond to the aid granted. This grant is co-funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resiliency Plan of Spain.

With this action, the UPV continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable mobility and emissions reduction, expanding the supply of infrastructures that facilitate the transition to cleaner modes of transport in the university community.
