The past November 19 the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) was the venue for the second technical commissions of the València Sostenible Forum a working space promoted by the City Council of Valencia to advance in the transition towards a greener and more resilient city.
The sessions were held at the Espai Natura of the School of Agronomy and Environmental Engineering (ETSEAMN) and addressed two key areas: Mobility and Urbanism and Housing. These meetings brought together institutional representatives, experts and social agents to discuss proposals that contribute to improving the quality of urban life and reducing environmental impact.
The event was organized by the Climate and Energy Foundation and at the beginning of the day, the Vice Rectorate for Sustainable Campus Development had the opportunity to briefly present the results of its ecological transition project and environmental measures, highlighting the actions that the UPV is implementing to reduce its carbon footprint and promote a more sustainable campus.
