The Vice-Rector’s Office for Sustainable Campus Development has attended the sectorial commission CRUE-Sustainability held on October 29, 30 and 31 at the University of Alcalá de Henares, whose thematic area was “Towards a university committed to social sustainability”. The program of the conference included lectures and presentations on the thematic axis, in addition to the usual meetings of the working groups (Biodiversity and Climate Working Group, Sustainable Human Development and Participation Working Group, Sustainable University Building and Urban Planning Working Group, University Sustainability Assessment Working Group, Sustainability in University Teaching Working Group, Sustainable University and Mobility Working Group, Healthy Universities Working Group).
UPV has participated in the sessions of the groups Biodiversity and Climate, ‘University and Sustainable Mobility‘,Sustainable University Building and Urban Planning’., y ‘University Sustainability Assessment‘.
In addition, the UPV has received the “Global Recognition of Environmental Sustainability in Spanish Universities 2024”, with the highest score, and with specific recognition for “Green Procurement” and “Environmental Impact Assessment of University Activities”.
