The Vice-Rector’s Office for Sustainable Development of Campus has attended the CRUE-Sustainability sectorial commission held on May 28, 29, and 30 at the University of the Balearic Islands, whose theme was “Towards a university committed to social sustainability.” The program of the conference included lectures and presentations on the thematic axis, in addition to the usual meetings of the working groups (Biodiversity and Climate Working Group, Sustainable Human Development and Participation Working Group, Sustainable University Building and Urban Planning Working Group, University Sustainability Assessment Working Group, Sustainability in University Teaching Working Group, Sustainable University and Mobility Working Group, Healthy Universities Working Group).
The UPV has participated in the sessions of the groups ‘Biodiversity and Climate‘, ‘University and Sustainable Mobility‘, ‘Sustainable University Building and Urban Planning’, Sustainability in University Teaching’ and ‘University Sustainability Assessment (whose coordinator is Cristina Martí Barranco, head of the Environment Unit).
