Open call for the “University Entrepreneur 2K26” Contest
Do you have a business concept that you can’t stop thinking about or an academic project that you dream of transforming into a business reality? It’s time to take the leap. The IDEAS UPV Entrepreneurship Area has just launched the XIII edition of the University Entrepreneur Contest 2K26The initiative is designed to detect, value and promote innovative talent in our classrooms.
Who can participate?
The contest is open to UPV students and graduates who have completed their studies in the last three academic years. You can apply alone or as a team. It is not necessary to have incorporated a company We seek to identify proposals with potential, creativity and capacity for impact.
15,000 distributed in 13 awards
This year, the competition is once again focusing on excellence with a total fund of 15,000 eurosThe prizes are divided into 13 awards:
- IDEA [UNDERTAKES]: Focused on innovative projects in their early stages.
- BUSINESS PROJECT: Aimed at proposals with an already consolidated business model.
- TFG/TFM/THESIS [EMPRENDE]: Specially created to highlight the commercial potential of your academic work.
- WOMAN [UNDERTAKES]: A specific recognition of female leadership in entrepreneurship.
In addition to the prize money, being a finalist will give you the unique opportunity to present your initiative to a jury of experts by means of a elevator pitch A key experience for the growth of any entrepreneur.
Deadlines and how to apply
The registration period is already underway and will remain open until the end of the year. July 10, 2026. Remember that the official deadline begins after publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana.
Steps to enroll:
To participate, it mandatory present the application form and the rest of the necessary documentation (according to category) by registration:
- (Preferably) UPV electronic registry: sede.upv.es< Presentación de solicitud genérica ->< Destino -> Area of Entrepreneurship and the ideas program.
- Common Electronic Registry of the State Administration
When it is not possible to send the application and documentation in the manner indicated, it may be sent through the physical Registry offices of the UPV or by any of the means established in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
