Companies linked to IDEAS UPV have obtained aoutstanding recognition in the 10th edition of the València Innovation Capital Innovation AwardsThese awards are given every year by the City Council of Valencia to innovative projects that contribute to the sustainable, digital and social development of the city.
The jury, gathered in the framework of the València Innovation Capital strategy, has awarded 23 initiatives among more than 50 proposals submitted, especially valuing their impact in areas such as sustainability, health and wellness, digital creativity or responsible tourism.
The IDEAS UPV companies awarded in this edition are:
- Protforgerecognized in the category of Health and Wellness for its advancement in antibody development more efficient through artificial intelligence applied to the biomedical sector.
- Akisei StudiosThe award was given in the category of Entertainment Economics and Digital Creativity for its work onvideo games aimed at mental health improvement. Akisei is a spin-off of the UPV andis part of the StartUPV ecosystem.
- Mon OrxataThe project was awarded in the category of Sustainable Tourism for its project thatconnects gastronomy, territory and local culture around the horchata tradition. valenciana. Món Orxata was created in 2003.with the support of IDEAS UPV.
These awards highlight novel ways of applying innovation in various sectors, from health and technology to entertainment and local culture, and reflect the commitment of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the UPV to solutions with a real impact on the city.
The València City Council, through the Delegation of Innovation, Digital Agenda, Technology and Investment Attraction, has highlighted the quality and variety of the winning proposalswhich together help to build a greener, more digital, inclusive and resilient city.
