CiènciaLab

The Universitat Politècnica de València organizes CiènciaLab aimed at secondary school students (3rd and 4th year of ESO and vocational training).

The objective is to awaken scientific vocations through the realization of scientific, technological and artistic workshops taught by university professors in the facilities of the UPV.

The courses offered by theETSIADI are as follows:

A lab in your pocket. Physics experiments with smartphones

FacultyJuan Antonio Monsoriu Serra, Department of Applied Physics (ETSIADI)

This workshop presents simple physics and technology experiments using common cell phone sensors. We will explore how these sensors record footsteps, function as compasses, and capture macro images of the microscopic world, all with ease using the cell phone.

Build your own robot

Faculty:Leopoldo Armesto Ángel, Department of Systems Engineering and Automation (ETSIADI)

Program fun educational robots to make them walk, move and dance.

These robots have been created by professors and students of the ETSIADI (UPV), with the purpose of developing educational robotics solutions that are used in educational centers. They are based on Arduino and the programming tool is easy to use, which will allow you to achieve very attractive results in a short time.
